United StatesBike instructions were written by lawyers who once read about a bike on the internet.
This bike is supposed to be the bees knees. All the reviews say so. So, because it’s supposed to be awesome, I referenced the instruction manual to be sure I set it up for success. Except… guardian seemingly hired a team of corporate lawyers to write a book about “how not to die” on our bikes and forgot to provide valuable feedback on how to set it up. I’m not an instruction guy, but for the $$ spent, it made rational sense to reference the manual just in case… except… the physical booklet that the bike came with is both vague and overly detailed… but also completely misses the mark on doing anything useful. “Some bikes may”… “in the US it’s typical”… “don’t do this or you’ll die” It’s like the lawyers who drafted this garbage up were trying to describe the concept of a bicycle despite never actually being in the presence of one in real life, To ensure my kid doesn’t die on this bike, because the lawyers warned… I went to you tube to see how to set it up. 4 minutes of videos about how to take it out of the box with 30+ seconds talking about the tools that it comes out with… I’ve got 12 other baggies of parts, but I confirmed I did what Part 1 and part 2 on YouTube prescribed…. But… part 3? Is that a thing? Like… pals, I can’t sue you if I can’t set up the bike. I can’t set up the bike if we are generalizing. This hurts my brain. I have 2 masters degrees and am a hands on construction guy… Blue prints on a house aren’t this bad.

This was a gift so we were kinda stuck giving a little less than expected or no gift at all. The bike is cute, but arrived with some chips in the paint from tools during assembly at the factory I’m guessing. The bell assembly did not fit the diameter of the handle bar so we had to improvise. The streamers are so so, fit in the handle bar covers very loosely. Our granddaughter loved her bike at that’s what matters. However, it fell short for us particularly for the 300 price tag.

Since its pre-assembled, you would expect no issues right out of the box. My son's 14in bike arrived 2 days back. He is using it as a balance bike. 1 day into it, the rear wheel cog is stuck and the bike wont move. They sent me instructions to fix it but then the supplied wrench doesnt work/slips on the nut. Expected better than this. On the bike quality, it seems well built n all but then if it cant be used after a day then whats the point.

The jury is still out on this one. The bike easily scrapes, the handle bars move out of alignment in a fall (even though they were tightened very well) and the paint scratches very easily. The seat came ripped but a replacement was sent immediately.

United StatesKid Loves the Bike but it needed adjustments immediately.
Out of the box the bike was a little out of alignment and needed some adjustments from how the factory shipped it. The brakes(front and Back) the chain guard and the rear wheel all had to be adjusted. After i adjusted all of these the bike works better.
