Kid-specific Geometry Learn more about
Kids don’t just need smaller bikes. They need different bikes. With all the right proportions. They need smaller grips. They need less distance between the pedals. They need shorter crank arms and a low center of gravity. All Guardian bikes are designed for kids, from the ground up.
Low Step-over Height Learn more about
The low cross bar makes our bikes easy to get on, and a lot safer if your kid comes off their seat in a hurry.
Adjustable Seat Learn more about
Every Guardian bike seat is both easily adjustable and easy to lock down. You can adjust the height to fit your kid as they grow up with the bike.
Eye Candy Decals Learn more about
Our bike colors and designs were developed by kids, for kids, to make our bikes the coolest bikes on the block. Our Guardian 20 Inch Large Bike line uses water-transfer decals with a clear coat finish, giving the whole bike a polished shine.
Double-walled Rims Learn more about
Our double-walled rims can stand up to the extreme beating of a kids’ bike without bends, dents, or buckles. Even under the weight of a grown man. We tested it. A bunch of times.

I was hopeful
I was really hopeful with all the reviews of success but that was not the case. She tried it the first day it arrived and hasn't been on it since. She reaches for the smaller, lighter balance bike instead. This is just a guess, she is so hard to read, and she doesn't give me much information to work with, but she seems uncomfortable with the handlebar placement. Can they raised to allow her to be sitting more upright rather than hunched? Her physical therapist isn't sure she can do it without training wheels but she really wants to try. Who knows she may come back to it in a while maybe she wasn't ready.

Hi Aileen, Guardian Bikes here. We're sorry to hear your little one struggles to gain confidence and comfort on her new bike. We feel you know your kiddo best and we do have options to add training wheels on our bikes! We also do have an option to raise the stem which we'd be happy to share. Please reach us at info@guardianbikes.com we can help share these options with you in hopes that your little one might feel more comfortable on her new bike! Thanks, Amber @ Guardian Bikes
disappointed
The bike is beautiful but too big for our granddaughter to do the balance method as recommended as her feet do not touch the ground even though we measured and were assured it would work if we took off the tail light to get the seat lower. So training will be harder as its hard to balance on tip toes and to walk the bike easily.

Had to fix a brakeissue
The front brake was completely off and I had to fix that as the string was loose and off when I received it.

Guardian 20 Inch Large Bike
Two stars off because the pedals are not long enough, 7 year old's feet slipped off several times while riding, almost crashed. I have to replace the pedals. The pedals that shipped with the bike are 3x3 inch, but the pedals on the 20" Galaxy Nugget (Bikesdirect.com) that I also bought are 4x3 inch, and no feet are slipping off these. Buy the Nugget (out of stock now) and save $100 and also the cost of replacing the pedals. The Guardian bike is otherwise excellent. The kids (ages 7 and 7) love it although one finds shifting on the Nugget is a bit easier. The bike arrived in 3 days and was easy to assemble. Only tool I needed was a box cutter. Shifting is correctly adjusted at the factory, brakes also. Seat adjusts easily. Wheels are true. 15 minutes to assemble and ready to ride. I would buy again if they upgrade the pedals, otherwise will recommend Galaxy Nugget, which is also less expensive.

Good Bikes, Bad Customer Service
The bikes are really nice, however, my experience with customer support was surprisingly bad. I ordered two bikes, one arrived on time and the other arrived over a week later pretty beat up. The box was damaged, half-opened, and scrapes on the bike as well. I reached out immediately to let them know, and they answered the phone with “hey.” No, “how can I help you?”, or “you’ve reached guardian bikes”, very much lacking in professionalism. The woman I spoke with asked me to send pictures through a text, and then never got back to me with any updates. Honestly, to pay this much for a kids bike… I expect a little more professionalism than this!
