Why Kids LOVE Guardian Bikes
With SureStop, there’s only one brake lever, so your kid can’t get confused when things happen fast. Our patented brakes won’t ever flip the bike, and the lever is in just the right place for kid-size hands.
Our unique gear shifter is designed to make shifting easy with a simple twist function and a red visualizer that changes its position depending on which gear your child is in.

Kids don’t just need smaller bikes. They need different bikes. With all the right proportions. They need smaller grips. They need less distance between the pedals. They need shorter crank arms and a low center of gravity. All Guardian bikes are designed for kids, from the ground up.
The low cross bar makes our bikes easy to get on, and a lot safer if your kid comes off their seat in a hurry.
Every Guardian bike seat is both easily adjustable and easy to lock down. You can adjust the height to fit your kid as they grow up with the bike.
Our bike colors and designs were developed by kids, for kids, to make our bikes the coolest bikes on the block. Our Guardian ETHOS line uses water-transfer decals with a clear coat finish, giving the whole bike a polished shine.

Don’t know yet if it will work
The bike sizing was off. It’s a bit too big for my son to try the gliding trick. He is barely on tippy toes. I waited over 2 months to see if he would grow into and yet has.

Hi Leslyn, Thank you for the review. I would recommend removing the seat reflector. This will help get the seat a little lower. We can also double-check the sizing. Please send us an email at [email protected]

Package was in poor shape
The bike came a week later than expected and in a box which had clearly seen a pretty rough journey. Bike seems ok? But there is chain rubbing / clicking when in 6th gear, and I'm not sure if it's normal or not because of the shipping issue.
Guardian Bikes
Hi Saverio, Adam here at Guardian Bikes. Sorry to hear the bike had a rough journey! We can help you fix/adjust and gearing issues though. Please shoot us an email ([email protected]) and we can see why its clicking and get you a fix. Thanks, Adam @ Guardian Bikes
First impressions good bike with setup issues
The assembly part (adding handle bars and pedals) was extremely easy however the brake pads were touching the rear rim tightly on both sides. Took me a little viewing of the online videos to determine I needed to let more cable out. My daughter just had her first ride on it and the bike would not change into 1st or 2nd gear and then the shifter lever turned 90 degree and I could not move it back on our ride. These are all issues I expect should have been found before it was shipped to us. That said my daughter seemed to adjust well to riding the bike and although the first time using a brake lever (rather than pedal brakes) seemed to adjust quite well. The bike seemed to fit her well and be natural to ride. These are first impressions and hoping once we get past some of the teething issues it will be a good bike.
Would be great except for shifting
The shifter is incredibly difficult to operate, especially so for a 7 year old. It’s disappointing being such a big component of the bike. Otherwise, a nice bike.

Hi Ryan, Adam here at Guardian Bikes. I would like to help you with the shifter, it should be pretty low pressure to twist. Could you send me your order number and a few pictures of the bike and shifter? Thanks, Adam
Good value but could improve
Shipping came later than expected(guardian only counts when it ships while most people think when it arrives at your door). Shifter is too hard for my 7 year old to use. She just stays at 6 because she cant downshift. Whats the point of having gears then? Better gearing for more top end speed
Guardian Bikes
Hi Arthur, Please contact us at [email protected] and we can help you with the shifter. We are working on improving our shipping times and will strive to communicate more clearly. Thank you Adam @ Guardian Bikes
