Why Kids LOVE Guardian Bikes
With SureStop, there’s only one brake lever, so your kid can’t get confused when things happen fast. Our patented brakes won’t ever flip the bike, and the lever is in just the right place for kid-size hands.
Guardian bikes never have coaster brakes. Period. New riders backpedal to keep their balance. If a bike has coaster brakes, this stops the bike, just when they were getting the hang of it. Our brakes stop faster, with much more control.
Kids don’t just need smaller bikes. They need different bikes. With all the right proportions. They need smaller grips. They need less distance between the pedals. They need shorter crank arms and a low center of gravity. All Guardian bikes are designed for kids, from the ground up.
The low cross bar makes our bikes easy to get on, and a lot safer if your kid comes off their seat in a hurry.
Every Guardian bike seat is both easily adjustable and easy to lock down. You can adjust the height to fit your kid as they grow up with the bike.

Not liking bike
My child is not liking the bike. The seat is raised high enough to have just his toes touching the ground but when trying to pedal his knees are up to his chest.
Guardian Bikes
Hi Shelley, We are sorry your son isn't enjoying his bike. Send us a photo of him on it and we can work on getting you the proper size.
Fit wasn't right
It was close.. he can sort of ride it.. but just barely tall enough. I wish I had purchased the next size down - I double checked the order measurements I entered, but the recommended size will probably fit him next summer.
