Why Kids LOVE Guardian Bikes
With SureStop, there’s only one brake lever, so your kid can’t get confused when things happen fast. Our patented brakes won’t ever flip the bike, and the lever is in just the right place for kid-size hands.
Guardian bikes never have coaster brakes. Period. New riders backpedal to keep their balance. If a bike has coaster brakes, this stops the bike, just when they were getting the hang of it. Our brakes stop faster, with much more control.
Kids don’t just need smaller bikes. They need different bikes. With all the right proportions. They need smaller grips. They need less distance between the pedals. They need shorter crank arms and a low center of gravity. All Guardian bikes are designed for kids, from the ground up.
The low cross bar makes our bikes easy to get on, and a lot safer if your kid comes off their seat in a hurry.
Every Guardian bike seat is both easily adjustable and easy to lock down. You can adjust the height to fit your kid as they grow up with the bike.

Great bike! But Manufacturer Error Required Replacement
I couldn't be happier with the bike itself. My daughter learned to ride in about 20 minutes. It's intuitive, sturdy, well-designed and quality all the way through. I was hesitant to spend so much on a child's bike, but the bike does seem worthy of the cost. However, with that cost I was disappointed to find that upon assembly the bike was incorrectly manufactured. The bike post seat slot had a fault that made it impossible to ride. This was an obvious error in the frame (as the seat could not be affixed) and should have never made it out the door. Some errors would have been difficult to notice, but this was not one of them. So when my young daughter learned that her bike didn't work and would have to be returned, she was devastated. An immediate replacement was sent out and the issue corrected ASAP. While I want to rate the bike higher because it has been great to ride and the customer service excellent, I'm on the fence as to whether I would recommend it to a friend. The QC was simply lower than I would have expected and I hope that Guardian is able to correct this in the future. Meanwhile, my daughter now loves her bike. Happy riding!

Hi Todd, Thank you for your review! We apologize for the state of your first bike. That definitely should not have happened. We are so glad to hear your daughter loves her new bike. Happy riding! -Kathleen @guardianbikes
Bike is great, training wheels so hard to use
This is obviously a wonderfully made bike and my 5 year old daughter loves it. She is not a “risk taker” kind of kid and never got the hang of a balance bike even though we have had one for years. I understand that the Guardian company doesn’t make or even recommend the training wheels, but they do sell them as an “add on.” My husband and I have both installed, adjusted, readjusted, and tried to trouble shoot the training wheels. It has been so frustrating as one repeatedly comes loose. We will likely end up having to take them to a bike shop and spend more money, which in hindsight we should have done to get the training wheels in the first place rather than buying them from Guardian. Unfortunately this problem has made it so that my daughter cannot enjoy her bike. I wish more care was put into the training wheels because I know we are not alone in wanting/needing them.

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for this review. We are so sorry about the training wheels. We recently updated our training wheels so this problem doesn't happen again. -Kathleen @guardianbikes
Wish I would have waited a few weeks for the 25% off.
Experience was so so. Paying full price, bought two bikes at one time. One came 2 weeks prior to the other. Was not aware of build dates. Hard to explain to a 3 ye old why his bike wasn't there the same as his sisters. Oh well. The 25% off sale would have been awesome. Could have saved over 100$ cant complain on the bike though. Kids love them.
Great Bike, Pros and Cons
Pros : My 6 year old grandson loves the bike, the size and easy ride are just right for his age. The bike will last a awhile because the seat height has a very good adjustable range. Cons : The training wheels I ordered were not delivered. I am hoping Guardian Customer Service will address this issue soon, ship the training wheels and provide me with the tracking information.
Nice bike
Perfect bike for kids, Easy ride, lite , well built and nice grip. Only disappointment for us is we had to pump in air into tires after every 2 to 3 days normal use. Not sure if there is issue with our bike (we have this issue from day one) or this bike design causing it. I didn’t find and punctures so something else causing it.

Thanks for the review, Suresh! We apologize for the issue with the tires. Send us a photo and we can get it sorted out.
