United States20" Small was too small for my 44" son.
The bike is advertised as being the correct size for a 44" child but its way too big for my son who is 44" He will grow into in eventually but its a little frustrating to spend $300 on a bike he cant use. Customer support offered to let me donate it and get a refund but not even a $10 coupon as an apology to buy a 16" bike. Many other reviewers say the same thing about their kid being on the lower end of the height scale for the 20" bike but yet they still continue to advertise it as being the correct height.

The bike was easy to install. However the metal frame was already scratched by the time it arrived. We left the garage door open and the sun coming in seem to melt the steering wheel rubber attachment . When my kid fell off the bike a couple of times, the front brake seems to come off. This was a new development in the 2 days. Didnt expect this from a bike we are paying this much for.

Received the bike. Kept it hidden in the box, opened it to put it together for our daughter the morning of her birthday to find the seat was not sent with the rest of the bike parts. Disappointed

I was disappointed in how heavy the bike was. I bought it for my 4 ½ year old granddaughter and it was too heavy for her to manage comfortably. I traded the Guardian bike with my 5 year old granddaughter for the smaller, lighter Woom bike I had given her last year. She is already a confident rider having learned on the lighter Woom bike. Now her 4 ½ year old cousin is happily learning to ride the much lighter Woom bike. For the price, I expected more from the Guardian bike.

I purchased the 20" as my son is 47" tall. The heights posted are not applicable if you want to convert the 20 " bike to a balance bike. For someone who is wanting to use it as a balance bike they must be taller than 48" .

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the feedback. Do you know the leg length? Please send this measurement to info@guardianbikes.com. We can double check the size. We recommend a leg length above 19.5 inches to be able to touch the ground and use it as a balance bike. You can also remove the seat reflector to get the seat a little lower.
