    Derailer

Can’t get this derailer to work so it’s not working in the lower gears. Not as good of a bike as I was hoping for.

    Could be great

Took about 3 weeks to arrive, assembly was easy and straightforward for me but my wife struggled. Gear shifter derailer in the rear appears to be made of plastic, in the sun it bends under the tension of shifting and pushes the chain off the gear.

Hi Austin, Thank you for the feedback. The rear derailleur is made of steel. It should not bend when shifting at all. I am thinking your rear derailleur was damaged in shipping. Did you notice any damage to the bike box? Please send us some photos to info@guardianbikes.com. My name is Sam. You can ask for me personally when you call. I can help out 7 days a week between 9-5 Central. Hope to hear from you soon. Have a wonderful day. Best, Sam
