    Excellent bike but didn’t get the bell

    We purchased this for our grandsons birthday. The bell we ordered to go with it showed delivered so I assumed it was in the box with the bike. It was not. That being said, this was his favorite gift. Once he got it opened he lost all interest in the other gifts. Just make sure you receive everything as soon as you receive the package.

    Fast shipping. Box was a bit (a lot) mangled at time of delivery which is likely from the shipper but the bike itself was unharmed. Bravo FedEx.... My toddler just turned 2 and is hesitant to ride but he does love the bike. Overall the bike is easy to assemble and the build quality seems very good. As a dad I didn't read the directions - take note that the front brake doesn't apply pressure to the wheel unless the bike has weight on it and is moving in a forward direction. I took apart the entire assembly before reading this on the placard that was on the top of the included tool kit. Rating 4 stars as I don't have actual ride data available.

    Balance Bike

    The brakes were very loosely adjusted such that it did not stop the bike. After adjusting the brake cable tension tighter per instruction the rims were getting rubbed by the brake pads intermittently. The rims were not true. The rear rim was intermittently rubbing on the brake pad where it was not true. The front rim was also not true and rubbing. Loosening the brake cable adjustment so the pads didn’t rub was too far for the brake lever to stop the bike. I will have to take bike to a shop to get the rim trued. The remainder of the bike was very nice.
